Racist Hiring Manager at Dropbox Admits She Dislikes White People and Makes Employment Decisions Based on Race

Jasmine Friedl, a hiring manager at Dropbox, openly admits she dislikes white people and hires based on race.

“Coming soon: my teams at Dropbox will be hiring product designers! I’ve committed to building a truly diverse design community, so if you belong to our BIPOC communities and have questions that I can answer, hit me up! Here’s some of the roles we’ll be looking for.” she said in a tweet.

In another tweet, Friedl said, “Things I need more in my life: feminism, comedy, truth, and less white people.”

Hiring manager @dropbox explains that she makes employment decisions based on race, and that she wants “fewer white people” in her life. I have reached out to Dropbox to see how many candidates this manager has rejected in recent years and whether they will investigate. pic.twitter.com/0GUGw4Ld53

“For years Jasmine Friedle has explicitly promised to offer extra assistance to certain applicants based on their race.” Fox News’ Gregg Re said.

This is a clear pattern with this racist Dropbox manager. For years, Jasmine Friedle has explicitly promised to offer extra assistance to certain applicants based on their race. It’s hard to overstate how irresponsible these tweets are. cc @dropbox h/t @libsoftiktok pic.twitter.com/VhtweUHXOI

Noted attorney Harmeet Dhillon said this is illegal under federal and state law.

This is illegal under federal and state law. If a white candidate applied for such a job and was denied while a less-qualified candidate was hired, the company would have some questions to answer, and with this kind of evidence, a claim to defend. https://t.co/Qh5L0usFKY
